1 Hope Cottage

The accommodation location (once found after asking a local - on the day of our arrival there were many closed roads) was very quiet and quaint. There were only two of us staying and the size of the accommodation was great, but not sure if additional adults would make it less comfy. It was a good place to retreat to at the end of the day and we had a good stay.

It may be that we have been spoilt by other holiday apartments, so we were a little disappointed with the lack of utensils and crockery to actually cook. We prefer to spend our money on visits rather than meals out. The curtains in the bedrooms, were also very light, which when we are away, we prefer to have a longer sleep as we are not needing to wake at sunrise to go to work. Some of the instructions / details also need updating - the pub is only open at the weekend; the refuse and composting was confusing - do you compost?; how to use the fire and thermostat? How to operate the radio?

Stayed here on a number of occasions this year which tells you all you need to know, it’s quiet, cozy and comfortable. We will be staying again in 2024!

The location was great. Had utensils so we made our breakfast each morning.

I can honestly, say. That there was nothing i didnt like about the place. Only that i didnt have anymore time to spend in that location
