Renovated cosy cottage within Cranborne Chase

Lovely location, there is a little shop opposite which is perfect for any essentials to get you going. The cottage is lovely, and a nice touch or a Christmas tree over the Christmas period. The Woodburner was lovely and made it extra cosy. The cottage is well equipped with everything you would need for your stay. The hosts were also amazing, responding to any questions, and the self check in was nice and straightforward.

Mooie cottage in klein dorp, tegenover de buurtsupermarkt die verrassend veel heeft en elke dag open is. Besloten tuin met stukje gras en terras. Wij hebben mooi gewandeld door de graanvelden.

The accomodation was lovely with everything provided for a great stay

Could have paid more attention to the cleanliness of the cottage, i.e. remains of food on table, musty smell. Lawn could also do with a mow. Also, a bit of maintenance is required on the downstairs taps.

Nice cottage next to a grocery shop right on the road through the village, but the noise does not penetrate the walls and windows. The village itself was far from the main walking routes we chose for our holiday, so you do need a car to travel around. The house had all the amenities and kitchen utensils for a self-catering holiday. Good Wi-Fi. We liked to have dinner in the garden patch, and the host even provided a grill and wood for the fire (but we didn't use those).

My only concern was dirty bedding - it needs a thorough wash to remove all the dark stains from pillow cases and sheets.

The location was very good and the village very quiet. All the places we have planed to visit were within an hour drive maximum. There was no food including - it is a self catering place. The shop in front of the house was perfect, with all what we needed for cooking by ourself.

Fantastic place! Stayed for a long weekend and it was brilliant. Rooms were big, carpet lovely and soft, kitchen has everything you would possibly need. There is a private gated driveway and a little private garden and courtyard so great for young kids. The little shop opposite sells 'Cook' meals - good quality and perfect for just chucking into the microwave. The Martin Down Nature Reserve is a short drive away and was fantastic to see the rare butterflies. Internet is fast, TV has iPlayer etc, shower worked great, beds comfy. Felt like visiting a friends house. Highly recommended!

Could maybe do with some hooks in the bedrooms to hang things up? But that's it, everything else was perfect! :)

The walled garden was excellent to allow the dog to run around. The house itself is situated centrally in a small village that was ideal for our stay. The owners had left a range of products that I would normally expect to provide myself. Particularly nice to have a few beers and a chocolate cake for us on arrival. The house was very clean and just perfect for our stay. Overall, it was just a brilliant experience.
