The host was very accommodating and organised, we booked last minute and got a great deal. The apartment had everything that we needed, we liked the look of it, and it was clean, comfortable, warm and homely and a great location. Would definitely stay again!

Great New York style feel apartment

A few small improvements could be made; a door handle to the front door, kettle and toaster needs attention. However loved that it’s dog friendly, affordable and close to beach! I will book again!

Cosy, rustic and clean. Lovely features for an older converted building. Only a 10 min walk to the beach and market. A stones throw from the shell grotto and Margate caves. A lovely mezzanine floor for movies and privacy which our 6 year old found highly entertaining.

If you are not used to background noise or traffic this may not be the place for you. Given that it used to be a small hospital circa 1897, it still has single pane windows. Thankfully, not an issue for ourselves coming from a major city.

Location was perfect for us. Great local shops, bakeries, pubs etc and a very short walk to the sea front. The flat was beautifully decorated, bed was extremely comfortable and loved all the touches like tea and coffee, artwork, candle, magazines and welcome message. Paul was an excellent host and made sure we had everything we needed.

The bathroom sink was very small and it was quite hard to wash your face in without making a mess. The shower pressure could have been better although I understand not much you can do in an older building - it didn't bother us that much really. The front door of the building was left open sometimes by other residents, we weren't sure if this was a problem or not as we don't know the area but coming from the city this made us feel a bit worried about security.

The host was brilliant, sent all information in one email and was therefore no need to ask any questions. The flat was clean, smelt nice and was so cosy. Loved it, and will definitely book again for our next visit. Thank you!!

Very cosy with the log fire. Decent location. Dog 🐕 friendly, with a great park nearby.

There were a couple of loose boards under the carpet.... which was ok, but every time it was walked over, it sounded like someone was knocking on the door!
