Mortlach Cottage

Kleine Ferienwohnung direkt an der Straße aber trotzdem ruhig. Wir sind für die Durchfahrt dort gewesen und konnten direkt vor der Tür parken. Beide Zimmer in der ersten Etage. Zur Selbstversorgung. Taxi zur Fassmacherei hat mit Trinkgeld € 15,-- gekostet

Die Küchenausstattung ist etwas spärlich. Wir hätten z.B. gerne einen größeren Kochtopf gehabt. Betten sind sehr durchgelegen.

Es war alles vorhanden, was man benötigt. Wie hatten einen angenehmen Aufenthalt.

Only one tiny minus was no shower gel in the bathroom 🙈 we didn’t take it with us as normally it’s not an issue anymore.

Fabulous cottage in a perfect spot for exploring the area and for local cafes, pubs and distilleries. Spotlessly clean and with everything we needed. Nice wee touches including biscuits, milk, tea and coffee. Loved our stay.

The fact we hadn't booked for longer!

We had a great time at Mortlach Cottage. There was no need to worry about arrival time – the key was easily accessible from a coded lockbox. The number of rooms was just right, and the separate beds were a big plus, as we were five friends traveling for whisky tastings. The accommodation and kitchen were very well equipped – I can only recommend it.

If I had to mention one small downside, an extra toilet would have been nice. :)

The cottage is nice for a group of 4 that doesn't plan to hang around much. It was mostly clean and well equipped.

The water pressure in the shower was abysmal. There is a rain shower head with an extra hand-held shower head, but the amount of water coming from the heater is so little that it is a complete mismatch.
