Mortlach Cottage

Excellent location at the center of Dufftown. Parking in front, clean facilities.

Ceilings are a bit low so if you’re a bit taller you got to bend your head a few times.

Clean & comfortable. All the facilities worked as expected. Comfortable bed. Excellent value for what I paid. It’s not a modern cottage, more like traditional Scottish. I was travelling on business, but the cottage is a short walk to the world famous Glendiddich distillery & Balvenie castle.

Just a minor point, but limited space for hanging clothes.

The kitchen was well equipped

The living area was uncomfortable The heating was set too low we were cold The beds and duvet were if poor quality The shower was of poor condition and no hot water

The cottage is very good value for money, comfortable and equipped with everything you might need for an overnight to extended stay. Walking distance to the Glenfiddich distillery, and all local amenities.

Everything was great apart from very small details which we discussed directly with the owner.

Cottage in the middle of Dufftown, easy to get keys and kitchen fully equipped.
