Everything, it was a lovely clean calm space to return to each day after exploring various beaches with the kids. It had everything we needed and more, James is a brilliant host and has thought of everything. The kids didn’t want to leave and were referring to it as home by the end of our stay! Xx

A wonderful place - clean, comfortable, close enough to stores and restaurants we were able to walk.

We had everything necessary for our stay- there was nothing that we didn’t like.

The house was very well presented, has good modern appliances, an excellent shower/room, comfy beds and a tidy minimalistic style that was very impressive. It is a semi detached house in a quiet slightly out of town street but a quick £5-£7 taxi ride gets you in easily or a brisk 30 minute walk. There were houses and gardens on all sides but we didn't hear a peep from any of the neighbours at all for three days. Great job James and Neil.

Hard to criticise anything and if I did I'd only be doing it for something else to write in this box so I won't be doing that...

We had everything we needed and the location was perfect. Would definitely go back.

Very clean with all amenities required to have an excellent stay.

We booked this accommodation quite late because our first booking let us down. It was more expensive but it was worth the extra expense. The accommodation was very clean and roomy. The kitchen was very well equipped. The beds were lovely and comfortable. The towels and bed linen were very nice. The welcome gifts were a nice touch.

The cutlery had wobbly handles. The blinds and curtains in the main bedroom let in quite a lot of light. There was no information about recycling.

Property was clean and fresh and had everything we needed for our short stay. The location was great for distance from town and to explore the island. Would recommend to anyone looking for a trip to Stornoway.

Clean, modern, new furnishings, mostly well equipped. Comfy beds, plenty of hot water and heating very responsive.

All the teflon saucepans were badly worn and a health hazard. We complained, and they were instantly replaced with new stainless steel ones. Thank you, excellent customer service.

Spacious, very clean and well equipped kitchen. We visit family in Western Isles regularly and stayed in a number of holiday lets, this was one of the best.

Whilst was a wee bit of walk into town, it is doable and taxi home only £7
