It was a bit too far from the town to walk easily.

Well furnished, clean and modern

Excellent location, 4 minutes from town and not much more from the airport. Beautifully furnished and equipped and very clean plus lovely Prosecco and chocolates to welcome you! Clear instructions from the host for key retrieval and phone number if any problems experienced (there were no problems!) information booklet too.

Can’t think of anything

It was spotless, a good size for a family, comfy beds and a lovely kitchen. We had everything we needed. The Prosecco and chocolates was a nice touch. The back garden gets the sun and there was a picnic table to use

A coffee machine would have been a bonus but there was nothing else I would suggest. It was a lovely house and I wouldn’t mind staying there permanently

The house is amazing, so warm and comfortable. It has everything you need and is in a great location. Hopefully it'll be available next time we come to Stornoway as we absolutely want to come back!

Nothing, it's a great house

Very comfortable and beautiful place. The drive can easily fit 2 cars no problem. It's well fitted out and the decent windows means that it's quiet. The sofas, chairs and beds are very comfortable. It's beautifully decorated. The prosecco and chocolates were a lovely touch. The location is good as you're not on a main road so only occasional cars come past and it's lovely and quiet. Only a few minutes drive from the shops . Also ensure you have the aurora app, we got a glimpse of green one night with relatively low solar output due to how north and dark it is.

There's beautiful furniture throughout, but some placemats for the dining table and coasters would have been helpful. The pans in the kitchen have seen better days, and there wasn't a sieve or colander to strain anything. Aside from that, the kitchen is well equipped. Be careful with the hot water, it gets very hot very quickly.
