Huge and every room was spacious. Lots of room to breathe and relax and work in. It looked like a place that was once a decent B&B. Decorating is to good standard and everything is comfortable that you'd hope to be. Fantastic location for amenities and as city locations go it's a pleasant spot with greenery across the way. Very handy convenience shop two seconds away by foot and bigger stores just minutes away in a car. The house is in very clean condition. One review points out a photo of rotted door frame as an example of the house's state. I would say this is misleading. The part that has rotted is on the inside of a downstairs shower/wet room and may even have been attacked by a dog or two kept in there at some point. Don't be fooled, the place is in great condition.

Despite the listed facilities on booking.com, we had here a dishwasher, but no washing machine! I was here for a week with my wife and kids. I understand why anyone would pick a dishwasher over a washing machine but must be noted. One of my biggest gripes with a home is a kitchen with far too few utensils. This one has such a good set of facilities and a decent oven, but barely much to actually prepare and cook food with. So chilled supermarket pizza and ovenable ready meals it is. Cutlery and drinking receptacles are a tad sparse for such a large place. The living room is small for the space available everywhere else. It would likely be better if the downstairs bedroom was the living room and the living room be left as a dining space, but I understand why this isn't the case.
