Super comfy bed!!! Lovely accommodation and owners would stay again!

Great location which was easily found and accessed, with very easy (by car) to get to lots of great places. Great views from the property too. Good value and good amount of space for 4 adults (single beds took a little getting used to though). Kitchen was reasonably well stocks with pots and pans etc. and there was salt, pepper, and oil, plus cleaning equipment and a dishwasher was appreciated. Also provided tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and a pint of milk, which was a nice bonus :)

would have liked a few more coat hangers for wet clothes after walking in the lake district. Would have liked 1 larger pan in the kitchen to make a large chilli/bolognese/etc. for 4 adults but I'd ordinarily pack this anyway and just forgot this time around.

Clean and well furnished house. Comfortable beds. Friendly owner and dog friendly.

Limited hot water. Only allowed 1 bath before it ran out and took a while to heat back up. The lane up to the place was quite long and not an easy drive up especially if you arrive in the dark!

Cosy, warm, great facilities and perfect for a getaway from it all with fabulous views, wildlife and big night skies, dogs loved it too.

Lovely cottage in a great location with beautiful views. Quiet and relaxed. The cottage had everything you would need. It's self catering but with a dishwasher it makes it alot easier. All cleaning products supplied, dishwasher tablets, kitchen roll, even cling film to wrap your sandwiches for a day out. Local tel numbers etc. We went online a few days before and had a grocery shop ( tesco) delivery timed for our arrival for convenience. So much to say that made it great. Hosts lovely, allowed dogs with a doggy wash point.

Too cloudy to see the stars lol yes I know that's not their fault but there was nothing to complain about. Sheep, red squirrels all to make up for it 😀

Lovely cottage in a lovely setting. My daughter liked the selection of games to borrow in the laundry room. Great value for money

Although everywhere was clean, the bathroom could have done with some tlc (fresh grout, fix the wonky tap), and the shower pressure was pretty low. But that wouldn't stop us from returning. Access to the property is up a steep-ish farm track with pot holes, so some vehicles would struggle.
