Castell Cottages Central with Parking

The cottage was close to local shops and the castle which was fantastic. We loved that we could park on the drive. Both bedrooms had an en-suite which meant we could get ready in the morning with ease. The kitchen was filled with utensils and a dishwasher which was a nice touch!

The cottage could do with a little TLC. The water pressure in the shower above the bath is lacklustre to say the least. Also there was no door number on the front door or porch, which we were looking for when arriving to check it was the right house.

Good location, close to castle and shops. Decent size.

Shower in en suite doesn’t work well

Great central location for walking in and around Caerphilly. Spacious light house, well equipped kitchen and great outdoor space with BBQ facilities. David very helpful and responded quickly repairing a small issue with shower. Beds incredibly comfortable. Large Morrisons behind the house (walking distance) perfect for stocking up on essentials. Great few days bringing my elderly father back to reconnect with places and family from his childhood, thank you David 😊

No complaints suited our needs perfectly!

Easy location, good access for travel. Nice size property. Value for money. Easy to get to shops etc. kitchen was well stocked with crockery etc. nice to see all the electrics pat tested. Lovely walk in shower, and great to have en-suite with a bath.

Very noisy (didn’t realise right next to the petrol station at Morrisons and there was a new block of flats being built behind the property), water pressure wasn’t great, no washing up liquid in kitchen (we bought some and left it for the next visitors), garden was nice but felt uncomfortable using it as was extremely overlooked (could have done with higher fencing), dustbins hadn’t been emptied so extremely full, could have also done with some more towels. Sorry, just being honest.

The space, facilities and comfort. The kitchen was well equipped too.

Wi-Fi and the shower in the main bedroom en-suite didn’t work.

This was a lovely, comfortable property! The kitchen was great, laundry machine included.

Spacious house, pretty big garden, a short walk to Caerphilly Castle and shops. The supermarket is nearby

The garden did not have comfortable chairs, only a picknick-table + bench were available, so we had to use the inside chairs to sit outside. The fence around the back garden was too low, giving us no privacy. The neighbours made a little to much noise at 6 o'clock in the morning when going of to work.
