Meikle Aucheoch Holiday Cottage, plus Hot Tub, Near Maud, in the heart of Aberdeenshire

Das Cottage ist wirklich traumhaft schön und total ruhig auf einer Anhöhe gelegen. Optimal für Menschen, die Ruhe und Erholung suchen. Es ist eine wunderschöne Anlage mit Whirlpool außen. Wir kommen definitiv wieder und waren begeistert.

We loved everything about the property, Shona had really gone the extra mile with little touches like stacking the log fire ready and putting together detailed local recommendations (definitely check out the guest book for recommendations from other travellers too)! Most of all the beds are comfy and it’s such a peaceful place for a relaxing holiday (as long as you like hearing the cows!)

Beautiful location, welcoming, great communication prior to arrival and during stay. The cottage was exceptionally clean and warm with everything we needed. The hot tub was a wonderful treat, set at a great temperature with towels and robes provided. Would recommend to anyone.

It’s a good wee get away in middle of nowhere, just to relax and unwind. Using hot tub was lovely and looking up the sky. Bath was also a luxury for me because I only have shower at home. TV is a smart tv which was great. Allows you to browse your own Netflix.

Best cottage we have stayed in in over 20 years,immaculately clean,beautifully decorated,hot tub was amazing,bed sooo comfy,log fire just amazing and so very cozy,all little touches as well,best view ever from the hot tub,see picture below ☺️ quiet and very peaceful,wish we had booked for longer.

Absolutely nothing

The cottage was so lovely - immaculate well presented - everything you required was there, jacuzzi fab, lovely scenery, and a nice touch of prosecco on arrival and snacks. would come back again.
