Right from the start of booking our trip Shona the host was wonderful with fast responses and answering my questions. The cottage was lovely and we really enjoyed the option of the hot tub and there was nothing in the cottage we were missing feeling right at home from arrival. There were also lovely treats left for us to enjoy so thank you very much. Shona and Kay's hospitality was brilliant and even went above and beyond to help us find a metal detector to look for something we had lost on our walk. Would love to stay there again.

To be honest we really enjoyed our stay and there was nothing that we did not like about the cottage. A suggestion would be to maybe replace the set of knives as they fell apart when we used them.

Friendly welcome in a beautifully set out home with extra touches. Lovely log fire to enjoy after a relaxing evening in the hot tub gazing at the amazing clear sky.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting the area. The facilities were amazing, the cottage was lovely and cosy. There were lots of little personal touches that made it feel like a home from home and we really couldn’t have asked for anything else. The hot tub was lovely and perfectly positioned for watching dawn/dusk..when it’s not cloudy! The lounge was so cosy with the fire on and comfy sofas for lounging in the evening. Host was lovely and friendly. Close enough if we needed anything but left us to it to have our privacy and enjoy our stay and just relax! Honestly, could not have asked for anything more, thank you!

The cottage was perfect, very cosy and homely with everything we needed for our stay. Ideal set up for an 11month old crawling baby! The hot tub at night whilst watching the shooting stars was a favourite with us. Shona is the perfect host, very friendly and nothing was a bother to her.

I don't think there was anything that needed improved in the cottage. It was perfect.

Everything from the location, how the house looks like, how confortable it is, the jacuzzi option, the beautiful landscape, we managed to work from the cottage and to have a relaxing time as well. Lots of options for visiting and activities.

It’s location was excellent, everything that you would need had been thought of. There was milk, tea/coffee and a bottle of wine which was really appreciated after our long journey. Bedroom
