Rose Cottage, Fishertown

Fantastic location and lovely little cottage

It’s not too bad during the stay but when trying to unpack and pack the car battling for a car parking space outside the cottage can be difficult

The property was perfect for what we required. There is a very spacious double bedroom and a decent sized single bedroom with another pull out single underneath. The property is very clean with a nice kitchen which includes pretty much everything you need if you want to prep any meals. Incredibly efficient heating system. I put the heating on one morning and within 15 minutes I had to turn it off again! Very short work to a park, the beach, supermarket, pubs and restaurants.

Hard to think of anything really. Maybe a very minor inconvenience is lack of dedicated parking. But at no point did we struggle to find a space on one of the roads just 2 mins walk from the cottage. Word of warning - the Co-op in Nairn is pretty expensive. Would recommend one of the big supermarkets in Inverness if possible.

As we were both disabled we had to climb stairs that was an issue we also were told about A Welcum pack which we didn’t get The parking was protruding hard to get a space being disabled that was an issue we certainly won’t be going back there
