"Excellent Christmas break"

Excellent location and great log burner that we made full use of.

Only very small downside was very cold main bedroom but the rest of the cottage was nice and warm.

Pen y Bont is a beautiful cottage which has been tastefully restored to make a comfortable retreat with everything you need on hand and in good working order! Everything was spotlessly clean and beds cosy and comfortable. The setting is idyllic, beside a small river and with the choice of 3 secluded seating areas. The village and pub are just over the footbridge and all is peace and quiet. We were there for Christmas and arrived to be welcomed with heating on and a bottle of wine and chocolates! Paul the owner is so helpful and prompt with any queries about booking.

Everything was really top quality, nothing not to like.

Beautiful cottage. Great location. Basic, but well thought out facilities. Interesting history

The bath towels are tiny. A couple of bath sheets would be good, however not a major issue. I would stay again and will bring my own large towels. The master bedroom is huge with one radiator. A couple of portable radiators would be great for winter.

This a beautiful little cottage in an equally beautiful area. Very peaceful. The little river was lots of fun for our kids. The cottage was clean and comfortable with lots of games and dvds to enjoy. It has a nice little outside area with a BBQ as well. It's only 15mins drive from Conwy. Paul was very quick to reply and helpful when we needed.

We knew before we went so not a problem, more a suggestion, it would make a big difference having a washing machine, especially with kids! Some kitchen items like baking trays need an update. Also a bigger bin would be great.

Absolutely exceptional-what a superb property. From the gorgeous lounge, log burner, comfortable beds, beautiful position, superb amenities-cannot fault it!

An amazing place to recharge. The property was beyond expectations. The suggested walks were great to.

Having a washing up bowl would be helpful (fearful of breaking things in the Belfast sink)
