Wow......the house was absolutely amazing and has everything you need to have an amazing stay. Martyn greeted us on our arrival and was very welcoming and showed us everything we needed to know. Nothing was too much trouble. We even got a lovely welcome hamper. We are a party of 4 adults and 5 kids and it was so nice to all have our own space. We spent all of our time in the games room. Thank you for a great stay.

The house was perfect for a family get together, 10 adults, a toddler and 3 dogs.

We loved the property, the pool table in the games room was amazing! It was also in the most lovely village with a short trip to Scarborough.

Nothing at all.

Loved the amount if space there was in the property very modern . Lovely garden . Very clean and close enough to Scarborough to visit for the day

No tv in the hot tub area... nope .. there wasn't anything not to like

The property was so much bigger than we imagined! Lots of space for all the family & fully equipped with everything we would need and more. In a perfect, quiet location with lots to do and see in nearby towns. The games room is exceptional and the hot tub is fabulous. Lovely welcome hamper and Martyn met us on arrival to show us around which I thought was a lovely touch. We would love to return in the summer and make more use of the beautiful garden and barbecue area.

There was nothing we didn’t like but a couple of things could be improved. The pool cue’s are broken and could do with being replaced and the hoover only lasts 1 or 2 mins when fully charged. Could do with a new one, we had dogs with us and I like to hoover daily. Couple of blinds are ripped, door handle hanging off small things that could do with being replaced. Locks on the bathroom door would be useful, we had three different households on our visit and it was always a worry when showering that someone would walk in! Non of this put a dampener on our weekend tho.

The owner met us at the property. We was shown around and made sure we knew how everything worked before leaving us to it. Lovely extra homely touches around the property. The pictures don't do the size of the property justice. The games room and hot tub are great! Very close to the local pub and fish & Chip shop if you don't want to cook. A little convenience shop also close by if you forget anything. Thank you we loved it!

We had no issues all weekend.

the house was absolutely fantastic for our family Christmas holiday! we had 2 children, 2 dogs and elderly grandparents and it was perfect. there was a downstairs bedroom and walk in wet room for our grandparents , a huge garden for the dogs and treats provided for them. the games room is absolutely huge with plenty of sofas and bean bags, toys for the kids, we had lots of games of pool and darts and watched Christmas films on the big projector. the other living room is very cosy with the log burner. the kitchen is equipped with everything you need and has lots of cupboard space with a big pantry. the bedrooms are all very good sizes too. overall, a very child and pet friendly house with lots to do for everyone . not forgetting the lovely hot tub too!

I would advise bringing house shoes / slippers as the wooden floors get very dirty and turn your socks black but there is a mop and bucket that you need to just keep up with whilst you are there I think. otherwise no other problems with anything

The house was amazing everything you needed for a snow winter brake for a big family the host was amazing the little hamper and table set for xmas dinner was amazing the game room was a treat with the little ones and the older one same with the hot tube . The log fire made my grandads day he lives local and is very unwell it was a one last xmas with him and he was so happy he could get everyone togeather very special Memories were made . The bedroom were spot on and being a mum off children who hate to sleep in dark the little plug in trouches were great.

Mum felt down stairs bedroom needed a higher bed and maybe a little chair in there

Wonderful property for our large family gathering. Ideal space with great facilities, the games room, hot tub and large kitchen were great. Also good location, close to Scarborough and Malton we had two good trips out.

Couldn’t really fault the stay other than a slight smell in some of the rooms. This didn’t effect our stay and all the other positives made this seem minimal.

Property was as described and more. Host, martyn was really helpful. Walked through the house to let us know how things worked, Wi-Fi etc and really friendly with a lovely welcome basket. Also helped recommend where to eat out which was helpful. Having grandchildren we always plan to ensure they are entertained and they were, from the toys at the property, to the garden with swing, slide and go kart to even having cutlery , plates and bowls for them really made it a home away from home.
