The quirkiness of the building. Very well laid out. In a great location

The entrance from the main road could be either lite up or better signed.

Quiet location with a well equipped property within walking distance of Ambleside. The reading area upstairs was put to good use

Although sorted quickly, the missing key in the drop box was a tad inconvenient. But these things happen

The location was great, the facilities were excellent, the cottage was clean warm and comfortable and we had everything we needed for a week’s stay, we will definitely be back - I miss the reading nook already!

The cottage was so clean considering it is pet friendly but when we arrived the bedroom in particular smelt of dogs, it took a few days for the smell to subside.

Only down side was no garden for dogs but there are areas close by so wasn’t a problem but other than that small thing we have absolutely zero dislikes about this property….

Perfect location for us - close enough for us to walk everywhere x
