"Good value stay for a big group"

It was a great stay for a family of 10 and two dogs. It was clean, in an ideal location and had enough space to park 2 vehicles on the driveway.

The only downside to our stay was the evening we checked in, the property took hours to warm up after turning on the heating(only that day). Other than that there was good supply of hot water throughout our stay.

Arrived at property whilst it was raining. I hadn’t received any emails about key box code. Took over 20 minutes standing in the rain ringing the contact number till someone answered, once they answered there attitude was I’ve sent the email. But I hadn’t received anything so they sent a text. Why couldn’t this have been done on the morning of the stay to make things easy. On first look house looked nice then once we got in to the rooms we noticed the mattress in the 5 rooms we used were all well used and springs sticking out of them and had no support. The bed sheets looked like they hadn’t been changed and looked dirty so we all felt like we needed to buy sleeping bags as no one felt comfy sleeping in a bed where you could see marks on the sheets. There wasn’t and towel supplied in bathrooms. Some tvs in the bedroom didn’t work. We stayed for 4 night and it was a relief on the last night knowing we was leaving the next morning. I would not book this place again.

Location, bathrooms.

Cleanliness, Everything is falling apart (doors, handles, hinges, floor boards, etc), the whole house is creaky, yard is outright ugly and not useable ... full of overgrown weeds, abandoned furniture and trash, No clothes dryer, No dishwasher, dining table chairs and table are falling apart. Basically the whole house needs a gut renovation.
