There were enough rooms each en-suite for the team of lads. There was communal space for them to socialise, which they wouldnt have staying in a hotel.

Due to the high footfall the property was rather tired, various items were damaged. However, with an amount of care and minor replacements, the property could become a real asset. There is a hospital/police station relatively close, so sirens were heard quite often during the stay.

Not a lot to like, location was okay that is all.

Noisy junction, dominos drivers next door blocking the drive daily. The beds are very uncomfortable, you can feel the springs through the mattress. Toilet seats were loose and broken, showers were leaking. Floors were squeaking a lot causing disturbances to other people in the booking. Host was rude to speak to, refund of the deposit had to be chased twice only received 9 days after checking out of the property. Pictures are misleading and look like they were taken when the renovation work was completed. There is an unpleasant smell in the property too. Definitely would not recommend.

Good size for a large group , all rooms are en suite with tvs , just in need of a bit of TLC .

A lot of repairs need to be done , broken shower heads , remote. control for tvs not working , noisy air vent and flickering lights when switched in downstairs shower . Mattresses were old and could feel the springs , uncomfortable to sleep on.

Got a big room with good facilities. It’s a good location as well.

We stayed here for a wedding and it was such a lovely stay. It had that homely feel we were looking for. The owner of the property was really accommodating and resolved any issues and requests promptly.

Host was easy to contact

We came across Lee's House while searching for a place to stay for our trip to London, and it seemed like the ideal location! It was big enough for 14 people, convenient to the competition (we're a local, non-profit taekwondo club), and reasonably priced. From the pictures, it appeared to be spotless and to have everything we would need for a weekend stay. Upon arrival, we soon realised how misleading and out-of-date those photographs were! First was the block-paving driveway, which was uneven, had gaping holes, and had missing bricks, which they'd tried to conceal by placing doormats over, but that didn't stop some of our guests from falling! Then there were the bins! These were placed in front of the windows, to the side of the door, and were already full of rubbish. A quick look around, and we could see a further pile of rubbish in the hedges—not a great start! The front door proved to be a challenge as well, as it was quite difficult to open, and we later discovered that the handle came off on the inside as well as being difficult to lock! When we arrived at the property, there was a sign to our right advising us to report any defects or damages right away. We gave a list that was quite extensive but not exhaustive because, throughout the weekend, we discovered additional issues. Among the issues we found were: Springs were coming through the majority of the mattresses.
