Stunning 5 bed house, 2 mins to beach and town, with free parking

Great house , especially with 10 of us , very spacious

Laminate flooring just needed to a good wash

The bedrooms were good, with comfortable beds. The kitchen was well equipped.

The house from the outside needs to be smartened up as this is the first impression. The small front courtyard had bits of old wood, things used for painting in it, and didn't give us much confidence in the property. We actually thought we were in the wrong place as it looked so awful. Then we were confused as there was an old broken keysafe on the front door, which said Flat 2. As it was dark it was then quite difficult to locate and use the actual keysafe on the wall. All in all we didn't have much hope for a nice place before we entered! The sofa bed which we needed to use was broken and dirty and was in the dining room, not the lounge. It would have been very difficult to use it as to pull it out we would have had to completely move the table and chairs. In addition, every time someone wanted to go into the kitchen or downstairs toilet, they would have had to crawl over the bed! Plus it had no mattress, so we couldn't use it and two people not from the same family ended up having to share a bed. The property needed some smartening up to qualify as "stunning" as in the title description. Much of the skirting was badly chipped; a drawer in the unit in the dining room was broken; the sofas were well past their prime and gave the impression of being dirty; the bath in the main bathroom was marked and again gave the impression of being dirty. It was all somewhat "tired" looking.

The house was stunning inside, absolutely lovely and spacious. More than enough space for our party of 12, 9 of which were children. The host was amazing and left nothing unthought of. He even left milk in the fridge. The beds were huge and super comfy. Everything was clean upon arrival which you could smell as soon as you walked through the door. They even provided a highchair and travel cot. The children loved it and none of us wanted to leave. The host was even kind enough to let us stay later due to our train being cancelled despite him having guests due later that day. Will definitely be back.

Not the best street in Blackpool but this didn’t take anything away from our stay at all.

The house was in a good location with easy access for public transport/trams and was quiet

Tvs in rooms didn't work

The house was spacious, beds were all very comfortable. You get that homely feel you don't get at hotels staying here. Back garden is enclosed which was a bonus for the old 4 legged friend.

It was clean and location was great for the trams and the owner was great as we had a problem with radiator and he’s got it fixed asap would definitely recommend Simon and property
