The house was lovely and had everything we needed, it was in a good position to look around Lincoln

The bed in one of the rooms was very lumpy and uncomfortable, the key lock was tricky to open, there was a strong smell of drains the first night we stayed

Location, space, cleanliness. Good value for money, especially given the location.

Collection of little niggles. Main issue is, from having read the reviews, all of which have been reported multiple times.

The location was fantastic, walkable to the cathedral and castle and Steep Hill independent shops. The rooms were spacious and attractive and the house had character. The house was warm and had everything you needed for a short break. It felt homely.

The beds in the loft room were very hard so not comfy. There was a smell of drains from the bathrooms after using them which wafted into the bedrooms. The blinds on the upstairs room stuck once closed so we didn’t want to try to re-open them. There was no lock on the downstairs toilet. These things have all be raised in previous reviews.

It was warm, comfortable and spacious. The shower was excellent. The location is perfect for visiting the centre of Lincoln which is a real treat in itself.

When we were there the dishwasher was faulty.

How well the house is layed out and equipped, fully kitchen with utensils 3 bedrooms and bathrooms

How hot the underfloor heating was and couldn't work out how to turn it down

The stairs up to the mezzanine so didn’t stay in that room.

Great location for exploring Lincoln centre, the property was well equipped, comfortable and clean. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Location was perfect, lots of things to see & do within a short walk, lots of pubs, restaurants, independent shops, house was well kitted out, ideal for 6 people. Owner had good communication, no problems arose during our stay.

Needs more hooks for coats, a grill pan would be good, radiator in loft room didn’t appear to work & the living room radiator didn’t get very hot. Loft room not really good for tall people, a few banged heads, dishwasher didn’t appear to clean very well. Could do with shower head holder

The location was perfect. 5 minute walk to the cathedral. Lovley quiet street and the accommodation was just perfect.
