Brook Lodge Country Cottage

A very pretty and comfortable cottage, immaculately clean and well equipped. I would thoroughly recommend.

The shower and beds

The keys are not in a key lock, the owner in fact comes out and gives you them. The heating you have no control of, it's locked. The lady sets it, we wanted it off and only on for an hour in the morning and an hour in the evening. We thought we had a garden we didn't. Felt watched the entire time. Handing keys back was weird as the lady stormed straight inside and was rude about me bagging rubbish and the towels when i had asked at the beginning what she would like. Overall £290 but felt it was £40 max with the under the microscope stay. Would have been nice to have a thank you for staying, come again etc... but no. I suppose starting off with a lie about the key box should have set expectations. I think it would be great if the pricing was better and if you dont have kids or disabled kids especially

Lovely spacious lounge. Bedrooms lovely. Lovely bathroom. Liked the outside terrace area (although not able to use as the weather not nice whilst we stayed)

No shops or place to eat nearby. Closest places were a drive away. So be sure to stock up before arrival

Lovely property, walk in shower was amazing! Outdoor area was stunning

Bitten badly by horse flies!
