"Superb"

The place is absolutely beautiful, and the owners were so lovely. Alice was around if we needed her, but never encroached, and her and George allowed our children to feed the baby lambs. Such a delightful barn, spotlessly clean in a stunning location. Would love to stay again.

Could do with better the WIFI worked best in the kitchen but not so much in the bedroom or lounge area. Definitely didn't spoil anything though.

Everything was clean and beautifully presented. It was so cosy and warm and had tonnes of character. The most idyllic countryside and perfect location. We will definitely be back!

The barn was comfortable and clean. Beautiful outdoors seating at the end of a busy sightseeing day. Alice and George were very welcoming hosts. All perfect!

"Lovely property in a fabulous location"

Peaceful location in lovely countryside yet easily accessible to local attractions.

When booking through booking.com my confirmation was for Widewath barn which confirmed bed and separate sofa bed which from photos of barn indicated seperate sofa bed area.We found out that we had booked a separate unit with different name and with one bed.This problem was sorted by owner by placing separate single bed in main bedroom which was not ideal for myself and son.Owner was very helpful in minimising the awkward situation we encountered.and iI think this situation should not arise and process of booking would benefit more clarity.

We loved the location being quiet and right next to the walking track over the fells. it is a comfortable and warm living space ideal for couples, Just a short drive to the local pub and shop. The hosts are respectful of your privacy but there to offer assistance and/ or advice if required. We definitely recommend.

We had an exceptional stay, ideal for everything within the area. We even got a lift from the host to Kendal Calling. It was perfect for this event!
