Luxurious 4 bedroom Cottage in the Yorkshire Dales

Location.

Shower drain clogged with hair etc and inadequate shower tray caused en suite flooding, and water coming through lounge ceiling. Hosts took 18 hours to come to help. Awkward parking. Downstairs loo only for liquids. Upstairs plumbing noisy

Well appointed cottage with everything you need for a short break away in the Dales. This was the third time we have stayed there and each time we have had a great time.

Absolutely everything. This property is the perfect getaway with everything you could possibly need and things you don’t even realize you want.

Loved everything

The cottage was in a lovely location with amazing views. It was extremely comfortable with plenty of facilities for all the family and just a short walk to a great pub with excellent food.

The parking was a slight problem as it was on a first come first serve basis and you definitly needed a car to get to the local villages. However, this would not stop us making a return visit to this lovely little cottage.

We’ve just returned from a weekend at the cottage. It’s outstanding. Absolutely beautiful and everything you could possibly need. So clean and well equipped. 7 of us stayed with plenty of room for us all and were able to take our little 15 yr old dog with us. Beautiful views and a great meal at the punch bowl inn at recomendation of the hosts.

Walk in shower flooded. Wife tried Last night & it flooded. She thought maybe she pointed the wand incorrectly. But this morning, I made sure plug was correct & took a 2 minute shower. I was ankle deep in water. Drain does not work properly. We left the towels upstairs because they were too wet to get downstairs without ruining your floors. Also a small piece of wood broke off of the front doorstop.

The property was presented to a high standard, we found it very comfortable and well equipped. The countryside and views are beautiful - very relaxing Caroline was responsive to messages Clear instructions regarding directions, access to property and house rules

Parking information is misleading. When you book it states free parking, but 2 days prior to arrival, direction and access information states room for only 2 cars on a 1st come basis. Parking has to be on the road away from the property if these 2 spaces are taken. For some people that won't be an issue, but for a 4 bedroomed property which can accommodate up to 8 people who may be travelling separately, this was not adequate. Booking.com info should be amended to reflect the reality so that different booking decisions can be made. Downstairs toilet was out of action - Caroline did inform us prior to arrival. Unsure what the reference to the number of dogs was - there weren't 4 dogs
