What a beautiful little hideaway! Secluded yet only a 10 minute car drive to Holmfirth - a busy little town with plenty of shopping opportunities, cafés and a few pubs for drinks and lunch. The accomodation it's self was lovely but small but perfect for either couples or two friends for a little get away. The place was spotless with a high attention to detail and nice decor. The log burner comes equipped with plenty of fire wood, fire lighters and a lighter. It was very easy to light and very safe.The bed was very comfortable with plenty of towels. I would definitely stay again if I plan on staying in the area. Overall fabulous and in my opinion worth the price.

Struggle with getting the hot water. Seemed to work as detailed in the booklet initially but then lost all hot water. Managed to get it working again after a while

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Loved the coziness of the cottage. Lovely linen and bath towels. Well equipped kitchen. We enjoyed it so much we extended our stay with 3 days.

Would have liked a slightly bigger dustin in the kitchen. The one dining chair could not be used as the leg was wobbly.

It was a lovely well looked after cottage the sights from the windows in the lounge was beautiful love the log burner was very cosy

"Nice break shame about no hot water"

it was a lovely cottage and situated well

couldn’t work out how to get hot water in the shower, followed instructions given, ended up having a barely warm shower which then turned ice cold. very frustrating. emailed Ben from the email he sent saying always here to help and got no reply. the bed was ok but due to personal preference it was too small for us so was uncomfortable and aching and glad to get home to our own bed. would look for somewhere with a king size bed moving forward. Wasn’t keen on having to strip all bedding before leaving as check out was 10am so had all our packing, wash and dry dishes and strip the bed I felt like a cleaner.
