GABLE COTTAGE - One Bed Cottage Close to Holmfirth and the Peak District

The cottage was in a great location, very pretty area and not far from other towns we wanted to visit. It was spotless and very well presented, really comfortable and just the right size for us two.

Cosy cottage in the Peak District, loved everything about it, quiet, comfortable, clean, felt like home away from home. Loved that we could bring our dog too, neighbours were friendly also. Cannot wait to go again!

The cottage was kitted out with everything we needed and the perfect space for a couple. Great location, about a 15 minute walk to the local pub. Would recommend getting All Trails (app) if you’re looking to do a lot of walking, it’s great at finding local ones and guiding you around.

We loved our stay at gable cottage. Great location if you just want a quiet break. Lovely and clean inside. Neighbours are polite and helpful. Just be patient with the shower, it sometimes takes a while to heat up. All the details are in the instruction booklet. Will definitely book again in the future….

Everything was perfect

Lovely little cottage, nice wood stove perfect for a weekend away in Yorkshire or the Peak District

Shower was annoying to get hot with the eco boiler, even with the instructions

Great cosy little getaway, close to holmfirth if you wanted to get out to eat. But if you just want to get away from it all, and just hide from the world for a bit, this is the perfect location ✌️❤️

Would have preferred an option for a slightly later checkout - but totally understand the reasons for the early checkout! Unfortunately the bed was a little too soft for my partner, but that can't be helped.
