GABLE COTTAGE - One Bed Cottage Close to Holmfirth and the Peak District

Location was great facilities were great.

The to in the bedroom wouldn’t work, had to keep swapping batteries and then it wouldn’t tune in. Don’t have the to in there of it doesn’t work? Thermostat was complicated to use spent the first day with only the fire for heating. The shower is also com located but found if you left it running for a while it would get hot.

The cottage had a very homely feel to it. It was spotless & had all the facilities available There was also a guide with clear instructions, recommendations and advice which made everything easier. This property is great for both a solo and couple who wants a combination of exploring the area and just relaxing, and getting away from the business of life!

Nothing really. Initially I had a bit of struggle with the hot shower/bathroom, but Ben was readily available to support and guide you. He also checked in via messages to make sure everything was okay.

Excellent location. Lovely and cosy.

Unable to run a hot bath. It was Luke warm . Was unable to park my car out the property as snow not cleared for access. No hand soap in bathroom.

Stunning location and an hrs walk from Holmefirth. Place is immaculate and perfect for a getaway.

Eco boiler was tricky to work out, but just make sure you read the instructions in the welcome message and follow what it says and it'll be fine.

the location was in a lovely spot. lovely scenery, with rolling hills. the interior of the property was very good, with all the facilities were excellent.

the parking was a bit tight as our vehicle is quite large.

Everything, it was our 2nd time staying here and myself and my boyfriend enjoyed it. The cottage is in a lovely quiet location. It was very clean and comfortable and proved to be a good base for us to go exploring the area.

The cottage was easy to find, Keys in the key safe outside. Upon arrival the cottage was spotless. Renovated to a high standard and very tastefully furnished. Instantly felt homely.

The only negative but honestly didn’t impact my stay at all was the lack of television signal in the bedroom

Hot water didn't come on had a cold shower. It did advise to run it slow but still went cold.
