Very clean and very comfortable. Truly felt all my own personal needs were catered for. A lovely home in a truly amazing part of the world! Highly recommend The Gable Cottage.

Cosy, comfy with a lovely kitchen and bathroom. Beautiful rural location, but not too far away from amenities.

"Lovely little cottage made for a great stay"

Excellent location, nicely decorated, comfortable and had everything we needed. A real little home from home. We had a lovely stay and the surrounding countryside was beautiful.

I would have given full marks in every category, but unfortunately when we came to use the oven on the second evening (the only time used the cooker) it was very dirty and the trays/wire cooking racks and glass door were covered in grease and fat - presumably left that way by previous guests - which was rather off putting. Fortunately there was cooking foil in the kitchen. Apart from this the cottage was very clean, and I can only assume this was an oversight.

"Lovely quiet area and quaint cottage"

We liked the additional space and privacy versus having a hotel room. Fully equipped kitchen allowing us to have breakfast before we left for the day

I had thought the seated area outside might have been a little more private however the neighbours were very friendly

A beautiful little place. It was very clean and very well appointed. The host was in close contact throughout our trip. I would recommend this place to anyone!
