GABLE COTTAGE - One Bed Cottage Close to Holmfirth and the Peak District

Location was good and great directions to find the cottage. Parking was ok and easy to get in to the cottage. Overall it was clean and tidy and we felt at home straight away.. We had an issue with the TV and the owner was v responsive. Great location for walks and to get out to nearby Holmfirth. Neighbours were nice and friendly.

Not much, the bed was comfy and the place was a nice base to explore from. Would return!

Lovely little cottage in beautiful countryside, it was easy to find and parking was right next to it. The village ( and pub) are a short walk away, maybe 15 mins along a quiet lane. There are plenty of footpaths out into the countryside and it's a short drive to Holmfirth . Views from inside the cottage are limited but there is an outside seating area . Lots of useful information about the surrounding area and a guide to the cottage available. Useful picture of the local ordnance survey map in the hallway. The host was very quick to communicate.

Location, quiet, comfortable, and a well stocked kitchen with a comfortable sofa, Second visit here, and would return, also we would recommend, so close to the most beautiful countryside you have seen. Local pub in walking distance if required.

The oven needs a deep clean, and the fridge door shelf is broken leaving no standing space. The bathroom ventilation is causing the smoke alarm to activate, and it requires an accessible window to open or a functioning extractor. Dining chairs are wobbly and possibly unsafe.

Clean, comfortable, easy to find and not too remote

A perfect little cottage only minutes from superb views and walks and not too far from amentiies

The location was beautiful, nestled in countryside the views were lovely. Short drive from Holmfirth which has an array of lovely cafes/pubs/shops
