GABLE COTTAGE - One Bed Cottage Close to Holmfirth and the Peak District

It was clean, tidy, and a relaxing environment. Good value for money too.

The shower is hard to get to a suitable temperature. However, this is explained in the hosts brochure. Once you have sused the Instruction out, it's perfectly OK. I certainly wouldn't be put off by it. Just have patience.

We had an amazing stay at this lovely little cottage. it was cosy, beautifully maintained and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing break. The facilities were amazing, from a fully equipped kitchen to a beautiful bathroom and thoughtful little touches throughout. Set in a very peaceful location with amazing walks right from the front door. It was the perfect base for exploring the area, highly recommend!

Great location, quiet and perfect for our stay

Bathroom sink small, could benefit from having bath removed & install shower as bath side really high for older people to access. No hooks to hang towels. We arrived later than planned due to traffic to find no milk bread or tea ☹️

Nice location and lovely, homely feel. Good size for 2 people. Guest guide was very useful.

Shower was ok, sometimes boiling hot and sometimes lukewarm, but wouldn’t deter me from coming back.

Everything, it was our third stay at Gable Cottage. Myself and my partner have enjoyed each visit and location as we use it as a base for exploring the area.
