Covenham Holiday Cottages

Wonderful host Jason was a delight to meet & clearly explained things when showing us to cottage. There was a local power cut not long after we arrived & he made sure we were ok. As it was it didn't last long but his consideration was very much appreciated. Squirrel cottage was very compact but utterly charming & spotless. Lovely quality bedding made for restful nights. We will be back & look forward to staying at the slightly larger cottage.

A curtain for the outside door between bedroom & bathroom would be lovely whilst it's quite private the clear glass feels a tad 'revealing' & the need to ensure modesty is covered. - be assured this is in no way criticism just a suggestion.

Peaceful and comfortable, with everything we needed.

The shower could do with being more powerful and a bigger bed. Also the 2nd door way, needs a curtain as right opposite the bathroom and bedroom.

Beautiful quiet location. Lovely pool. Quiet village. Excellent host who was always ready to help.

No village pub but plenty of great spots only a few minutes away. It is difficult to find fault with the set up here.

Lovely place to stay nice and quiet some nice walks, accommodation was spotless well equipped and very spacious the pool was the icing on the cake to our stay. Lovely place to get away and relax. Thanks to Jason our host for making us welcome and for all his help 👍

The location is great. In a peaceful part of the countryside. Absolute silence apart from the wildlife.No light pollution if star gazing is your thing.Plenty of green space for kids to burn off any energy left after using the swimming pool. Close to the coast and other local attractions. If you love ice cream Farmer Browns is a must. We stayed at Hare Cottage.

Pool clean,swimming pool for each family separately, very quiet area, beautiful house, wonderful owners

It was a beautiful place to stay and I wish we had stayed longer. It was peaceful, beautiful and so restorative. We booked the pool but had to ask if we could change our times as we were delayed and Jason juggled things so we didn’t miss our swim on the first evening. Just a lovely place to be!

There was nothing I disliked, my only suggestion would be a little more kitchen equipment could have been useful. Just needed fleshing out for example only 3 bowls and 4 of us. That really is minor and would only a personal preference so I didn’t have to wash up whilst on my break 😂

Cottage was perfect for kids and dogs with an enclosed Garden. Location was great for dogs walks too - straight out of the gate and onto footpaths and bridleways. We also really loved the pool, and liked the booking system so it was kept to private usage.
