Adalienes Retreat

Adaliene’s Retreat was very centrally located in Portree. It was very clean with excellent kitchen and bathroom facilities. Bathrobes, breakfast cereals and fruit etc. being provided were added bonuses.

The opening of the shop above the apartment was very noisy just before 8am, but didn’t bother us later in the day. This wouldn’t be a problem if wanting to get out and about early.

The variety of teas, coffee and the breakfast left in the fridge are lovely touches and really appreciated, instructions on how to find were clear and having space to park in front of the property was really handy.

L'appartement nous attendait avec tout ce qu'il fallait pour avoir un petit déjeuner, bien équipé. L'hôte était disponible et réactif en cas de besoin. Endroit tranquille et stationnement facile.

La table pour manger ou travailler doit être roulée et installée au centre de la pièce principale. Rien de grave.

위치가 좋았어요 쇼핑과 식사하고 걸어서 들어오기도 좋은 위치이고 잠깐 시간이 생겼을때 포트리항구까지 걸어가는 경험도 좋았습니다

The location is perfect. Nice and quite. Lots of lovely walks. The owner Carol goes above and beyond to solve any problem. Certainly stay again if I am up this way again.

Fantastic place to stay a very short walk from the middle of Portree and the bus station. It's a really quiet place, you can hear footsteps from the shop above but it's only during business hours. I was outside most of the time so it's not really an issue. The place is stocked up wonderfully, I planned on hiking a lot and it was great having a lot of breakfast options already in the fridge. The place generally is super comfortable and well maintained.
