"Other owners should visit this gem to get ideas on how they can make their accommodation great"

10.0

We have stayed in many places (not just with Booking.com!) and this was probably the first time we’ve been truly amazed at how the owners have gone truly above and beyond to attend to the needs of people staying. It is a pretty small terraced house, but the care and attention to detail, to layout, decor, atmosphere and so on is truly exceptional.

There are a few small suggestions which I will be contacting the owners about, but these in no way detract from what is a brilliant example of how accommodation should be done.

"A very relaxing quiet week in the English countryside."

10.0

Location was great easy commute to airport. 2 places to eat & drink within a few mins walk. Typical English countryside quiet living.

The weather, but then again rain is what I love that don't bother me. It's part of the enjoyment.

"Although the bathroom was a little disappointing, the overall stay was great. Would recommend it."

9.0

We received a warm welcome to this cosy cottage. The cottage was clean and tidy and had everything you’d need for a few days away. It was warm and comfortable and in a great location to visit Beamish, Durham and Newcastle.

The bathroom got very wet when showering because the shower door seal didn’t fit properly. It then smelled a little musty.

Brilliant communication, warm welcome and a nice touch providing milk and snacks. Great location spotlessly clean. Information pack and info on things to do locally all very well thought out

Couch bed didn't leave much room for coffee table when folded out couldn't really access kitchen area very well. But not that big an issue
