A lovely welcome from Dan on arrival with thoughtful food treats too. Gorgeous property, decorated so beautifully. Comfortable beds, amazing shower and relaxing lounge. A really lovely property, nicely decorated and with lots of homely touches. It was very comfortable and cosy and it had everything we needed. The Visitors Book was a nice touch and there was plenty of information regarding the property and things to do in the surrounding area. The hosts were very communicative prior to arrival and available throughout our stay for anything we needed. The location suited us well for walks and for Durham.

I hadn't appreciated that the property was on a fairly busy road. It caused absolutely no problems, but if you want the bedroom window open at night there's a reasonable amount of traffic noise.
