"Lovely, cosy cottage with absolutely everything you could need in a great location."

Absolutely everything. Lovely, cosy cottage and it was amazing to come home and light a real fire in the evening. Christmas decorations were an unexpected bonus. Two pubs doing food within walking distance and a short taxi ride into the nearest town. A great base to explore the area from. Would definitely stay again.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

Great clean cottage not too far from Durham. We enjoyed our stay - the beds were comfortable, kitchen well equipped, log fire was great and we appreciated the goodies Cathy left for us - very nice touch - thank you!

Bathroom had signs of mould and can do with a bit of redecorating - shame because everything else was perfect 🤩
