Holly Cottage

Very cute cottage, very comfortable, quiet and clean, and with very pretty decorations. It is very well equipped and has everything needed for cooking etc. It’s also in a great location, across from a pastry shop and a couple of good restaurants, and very close to a cafe and the main grocery store of the area, easily reachable on foot. Plus there are nice walks to do right there. It’s so beautiful !!

All was great

- Exactly as described, pictures truly reflect the accommodation - Charming atmosphere, we enjoyed the rustic decor. It felt big enough for 2 people - Great location, easy to park nearby, quiet neighbourhood and close to loads of trailheads/sights, supermarkets and food trucks/food - Very clean and well equipped. We enjoyed the towel rack in the very spacious bathroom and their functional kitchen - The bed was incredibly comfy and we slept so well - We would book again if I were to be back in the area, we really enjoyed our stay!

If we could make a small suggestion: a bigger TV would really make the difference between exceptional (9) and truly exceptional (10). We join the other reviewers on that front. The TV is quite far away from the corner of the couch closer to the kitchen and feels very tiny (no bigger than a computer screen) and it was difficult to see properly from that side of the couch. And because the cottage is a bit “dark” (as expected for a building like that) it does not feel comfortable for your eyes. No one is going to watch hours of TV while in a beautiful location like this, but let’s be honest: it’s nice to watch the news or a program while wrapping up your day and even 30 minutes on a tiny screen like that did not feel nice

Nothing we didn’t like!

The cottage was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. It was lovely to stay in an authentic 1700s worker’s cottage that had all the modern amenities. The location was fantastic. 5 minutes from Glencoe and close to beautiful walks. Stunning scenery. A wonderful patisserie opposite the cottage and other cafes and pubs nearby. Would highly recommend.

Easy access and parking directly outside. Comfortable lounge and dining space which was big enough for 4 people when our friends visited. Excellent patisserie opposite and a fish & chips shop too.

Limited outside space. Small TV was not ideal for keeping in touch with the snooker this weekend!
