Host & Stay - The Cottage Barn

The house was very spacious and was in a seriously beautiful location. Very good parking space. Big bathrooms, lots of closets and cupboards, enormous and comfortable kitchen. Three fridges, which were hardly necessary, of course ;). The kitchen also had a freezer, but we didn't use it. We liked that there was a dishwasher!

I missed a chair or stool in the bathroom. A step would have been handy in order to open the window. I had to climb onto the bath to be able to reach it. A few hooks to hang clothes on in the bathroom would add to the comfort. I should also mention that the drain in the big shower seems to be a bit clogged. And I would have liked a handheld showerhead in the bath (to rinse my person and also the bath....). A pity that there was no garden to lounge in. And the wifi was not much good. The internet only worked for about 10 minutes at a sitting. Rather annoying.

Nicely decorated throughout. Warm, Comfortable and a beautiful fire place.

Location and property are stunning. Nicely tucked away but not too far from amenities. Great little get away, would definitely recommend and stay again. Also, the property management people were very helpful with any queries I had.

Beautiful property, exactly as described and pictured. The location and surrounding countryside are wonderful. Communication from Host & Stay was excellent throughout the process.

Beautiful cottage. Superb solid wood kitchen units ,floors,stairs.

Lovely place let down by,stains on bed sheets, poor wire coat hangers.,no towel rail or hook in one bathroom,holes in 2 bedroom walls,caused by doorknobs, not been repaired .no breadbin.needs more drinking mugs.
