"Lovely stay"

Really well located for us visiting relatives for a christening (only 5 mins walk away). Very well equipped, everything you need really. Milk, bread and butter a really lovely touch but we didn't use.

Only slight grumble was that the double bed wasn't that comfy.

Warm, comfortable and very welcoming, little extras left in the fridge very useful. Love the views of Manchester especially at night.

The owl at 3.30am, but must not complain, lovely to hear wildlife

The cottage was very cosy. Beautiful log fire. Fabulous hot shower. Very comfortable beds. The cottage was very clean and tidy.

The location was perfect for our trip .. the cottage was cosy.. and clean.. the owner was so prompt to help with a heating issue and was so friendly.. the welcome pack was exceptional too

"Cosy cottage, highly recommend"

Absolutely beautiful little cottage which is furnished with quality items. Feather duvets, feather pillows and hotel grade sheets make for an amazing nights sleep. The log fire is perfect, so cosy. Bread, milk, butter, orange juice and jam being provided is a great welcoming experience.

There is nothing not to like.

"VERY warm and cozy cottage. VERY welcoming!"

There was tea, coffee, bread, milk, butter, jams, orange juice on arrival, which was great. Firewood also, it was lovelyto have a real wood fire. It was all very cosy. The Christmas decorations were great! I loved that! Lots of little details that added to the comfort. The bathroom was very warm, lots of towels were provided, and I loved the size of the shower, which was a walk in. The cottage is behind gates, with the host just next door, adding to a sense of security (if that is an issue for you). The host visited, as there was a problem with the heated towel rails in the bathroom. This was fixed the very next morning - the bathroom was very warm without these towel rails - in my opinion. But again, all very welcoming and cosy. The beds were very comfortable, and personally I LOVED the feel of the cotton sheets/duvet cover. We were visiting friends who lived nearby, so the location was brilliant for us, and LOTS of great pubs nearby for food. a bonus!

The layout of the kitchen wasn't ideal, but it had everything you needed :)
