Cosy cottage with log fire. Hosts provided essentials including milk, bread and orange juice which was a nice touch.

beautiful location. The owners had thoughtfully put up Christmas decorations and a tree. Fridge was stocked with milk, bread, butter, juice and condiments. The rooms were lovely too.

Nothing at all

We have stayed here before and we were very happy to return. As my daughter stated when we arrived, 'Ah home form home'. This time though there was a bit more as the whole property had been decorated with Christmas lights, the overall effect was really welcoming and made us feel very festive. A lovely touch is that the hosts provided local milk, butter, bread, two types of jam, and fresh orange juice. There is also a supply of tea bags and sugar etc. So if like us you have travelled far you know you can eat something. I am used to using and open fire and there was plenty of logs and kindling but I took some news paper to help light it.

Very cozy cottage and spotlessly clean

Nothing really, the bathroom set up is a little interesting as the 2nd bedroom is only accessible via the bathroom but this just added to the character

A beautiful old cottage in a good location, feels very homely and secure. The host greeted us shortly after arrival to see if we needed anything. It was well equipped and had everything we needed, even had some bread and milk in the fridge! No worries about parking. Fit the four of us in very comfortably, I hope we can stay again.

Everything needed was provided for people arriving without shopping - a nice welcome.

No downstairs loo - could be a problem for some and the stair steps are higher than normal. We managed fine.

The stairs were steep but manageable with care

Well appointed and well equipped. Very comfortable stay.

There is very little to dislike. My Mother who is 89 found the steep stairs a little difficult, but this is not a negative about the property.
