"Fabulous House"

House was lovely, great facilities and very clean. Bed was comfortable. Great linen and towels. House decorated perfectly. Quality products and furnishings throughout. The walk down the canal to town was fab and well-lit at night. Loved the use of the app with information.

The carpet upstairs needs updating, but clean. Rubbish outside of the front door, not that the owners can help that. Wasn't able to watch analogue tv, only American free view channels. We could never park outside the house and had to park on another street. No outside bin for me dispose of my rubbish prior to leaving, sorry.

"Mini Break"

Great location for visit to Chester. In a quiet location straight onto a canal path, 15/20 minute walk into the centre of Chester. Chester is lovely with its old buildings, race course, walks, and shops. We used the train into Liverpool, which was cheap and easy and a great day out.

We were very lucky with parking, but this may become an issue on the small streets around the property

"It was ok and the owner is lovely"

Both bedrooms were very comfortable

Needs to be maintained more - we had to have a gas engineer to fix noisy central heating, tiles on front door step needed repair/replacing, door stuck badly between kitchen and sitting room we just kept it open all week. Need To buy some saucepans and kitchen scissors - lovely fancy washing machine but absolutely no where to hang washing. These aside it’s not a bad cottage but just needs some rethinking. All necessary info needs to be hard copy not just online please !!!

"Exhausting week in Chester"

Location in residential street. Plenty to see and do and ample places to eat and drink in the City centre which was approx 20 min walk away from the cottage either along the canal or the main road. Cottage was roomy, comfortable and well equipped. Host was quick to come out to explain how the oven worked. Lovely enclosed garden. All in all a very lovely stay with good weather the entire week.

The very poor bus service into the city. Parking very sort after but only had a problem once when we went to the zoo.

Great place .nice and near the canal...comfy beds...good kitchen ..very much enjoyed our stay

Couldn't get normal channels on the TVs...so missed Coronation Street!
