Symonds Yat - Herefordshire property with stunning views

The cottage is set in a beautiful part of Wales, great views right by the river, lovely.

The cottage needs some maintenance, Shower didn't work properly downstairs, either freezing or scolding water, needs replacing, so it was unusable, Upstairs bathroom only has bath with shower head on the taps which also didn't work, people these days require a shower more than a bath.

Location was excellent

It was very cold on arrival and during the stay but it was January!! And freezing temperatures so to be expected.

The location was stunning with breathtaking views across the forest.

Needed more help with the working of the TV and would have been useful to have some local planning of access to river etc...

Good location with superb views. Local pubs and restaurants were welcoming and good. There are excellent walks in the area. Sadly, the weather was poor and limited our activities a little. The house itself was comfortable enough and reasonably well-equipped.

The decoration of the house was generally rather tired, and in places patched up roughly. Some of the furniture and kitchen equipment was rather well worn. There was no coffee jug or cafetiere.
