Lovely countryside house on a quiet lane . Allison made me feel really welcome and told me about her old house over a cup of tea. She also shared a lot of information about the area and things to do, walks, etc. Nice room, big space.

"Lovely room and pleasant host, however breakfast could have been better."

Beautiful scenery. History and quirkiness of the property. Close to Matlock but very quiet and peaceful. 10 minute drive to Matlock which has plenty of places to eat and drink.

Breakfast was disappointing. Cereal, toast, yogurt and a small fruit salad. Parking was on the road as expected but it wasn’t easy finding a space when we came back in the evening. During breakfast the host said that we could have parked next door!

"Tolle historische Unterkunft mit viel Charme."

Das historische Haus ist ein tolles Fundstück. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und die Hausherrin hat uns viel über das Gebäude erzählt. Wer eine besondere Unterkunft möchte ist hier richtig.

Nichts, alles war wunderbar.

Beautiful house with lots of history and character and I loved the secret garden.

The only minor criticism was the breakfast it was nice but could have had more choices
