Fletland Mill and Holiday Hamlet - 18th century watermill, in stunning location near Stamford

Location was perfect for our requirements, nice peaceful country location but not too far to facilities shops and towns.

A note to the owners the key box we found difficult to open the key box in the dark is not easy to see the numbers.Other than that everything else was ok.

Ease of access . Closeness to walks and interesting exploring of Bourne Stamford and Burghley House. Phil was very welcoming.

Shower needs a longer shower screen. Rack for washing up.

It was so quiet with only the sound of the river running in the background. Comfy bed and lovely big shower.

Cooking facilities were limited.

Charming property in a lovely location, spacious living space which was good for socialising.

Somewhat to be expected for the kind of property it is, but rooms were not very soundproof - could easily hear other rooms and other floors. Also quite a few ladybirds in the property which was a bit odd (though we didn’t really care).

Beautiful location, immaculately clean and quite comfortable too

Nothing really, the settee could be a bit bigger and more comfortable as could the bed (I'm a 16.5st guy so bigger/heavier than normal) but other than that, it was great

Water noise was very loud in the ensuite room
