This place really is a hidden gem! We loved the location so much, the peace and quiet in The Sett but the easy access to amenities around it too. We loved exploring the forest and fields, meeting all the animals around! The Sett itself was like a home away from home, everything we needed was there for us. Special mention to Melanie who was such a lovely host, so friendly and helpful to us.

The house and grounds were fantastic. Spotlessly clean with everything provided. Very comfortable and spacious. The hosts were very helpful and friendly even gave me a bottle of champagne to celebrate my 60th birthday. The high standard of the accommodation made my weekend away with my family extra special. I would thoroughly recommend.

Excellent location. Plenty of woods and fields on site to walk dog. Clean,comfortable and well maintained property with landscaped setting. Good parking and well off the road so no road noise. Shops local and garden centre next door. Would happily use again.

We enjoyed the quiet location in a scenic area. Spotless, comfortable accommodation with all the essential amenities. It was a good base for exploring Stamford, Rutland Water & Burgley Hall.

Lovely location, peaceful and relaxing

Bed was small and an armchair would be useful but this is personal preference as my husband is 2 metres tall.
