The sofa bed was very uncomfortable

Comfort & cleanliness the hot tub layout of the lodge car park space privacy secured peaceful area loved overlooking the lake with the ducks and we saw the swan .

Too much chlorine in hot tub

Middle of nowhere, 20’ away from York centre

Double booking, we had to wait for quite a while to have our place.

Property was well located and clean

We didn’t have electricity most of the days there as they was a power cut so it killed the moment of the break

On arrival was told the cabin had been double booked. This is not the first time booking.com has done this to me.

Perfect with lots of extras

The lodge was probably the best one we have stayed in. The master bedroom was outstanding with walk in wardrobe a bath and shower as well as the other bathroom. Was ideal for our granddaughters nighttime bath. Every you need was included. The hosts had obviously read their guest book and rectified any things people had noted which was good. The hot tub was fab lovely and warm and clean. It had been raining a LOT before we went so grass was waterlogged but you didn't need to walk on it. The park was beautiful and clean. We didn't eat at JJs as we went out for the day to Eden Camp which was fab. Would definitely go again.

The door bars in bedrooms screws were a little prominent and hurt if you stepped on them and I'm only writing that so other are aware
