The Well house

There was a cream tea and a pint of milk on arrival, which was a nice surprise. The place was very clean and the bed really comfortable. Great location, just a short walk to the harbour, town centre, and a good pub. There was a nice seating area outside. The property was equipped with everything needed, including instructions for appliances.

The shower is very small. We are not large people but found it a little awkward. WiFi was poor making internet use very slow and the television kept losing signal. Although we don't usually watch much TV while away, so this wasn't a major problem for us.

We liked the appearance of the accommodation externally and internally. Being a converted Well house makes it for quirky, unusual and attractive accommodation.

We did not know the tap in the kitchen is boiling water until we read the helpful and useful information contained in the folder. Perhaps we are unusual in not knowing about such taps. A notice by the sink alerting users to boiling water may be prudent for folk like us.

It was easy to follow the instructions on where to park and collect the keys. It is a well decorated cosy place to stay. Easy to park next to property. Lovely to find scones and cream on arrival. Would stay again

It would be good to have a fan and a sheet for the bed as it was warm while we were there. It would be helpful to have the names of the properties in the house grounds on the main entrance sign as you drive in the gate near the traffic lights

Location was perfect, just a short walk in to the town and nice and private.

Beautiful accommodation, unique and quirky, lovely views felt really comfortable there, conversation with owner was good too, loved the small lagoon next to cottage so much wild life came to visit
