The Well house

Absolutely everything! Just right for two people and has everything you need for a lovely stay! The set up is amazing and so are the features; so cleverly done! You are away from the hustle and bustle enough to feel like you are in the middle of nowhere but within a 10/15 minute walk to be in the middle of the harbour! There isn’t a conventional cooker, which didn’t bother us as we ate out mostly….we are on holiday after all 😉 but there is a hob, microwave and air fryer available. No need to boil the kettle as there is a boiling water tap which is a great addition. Bed is really comfortable and towels are provided! The log burner is fab too- we couldn’t leave without trying it out! it was lovely and warm! The simple gesture of fresh scones, jam, clotted cream and a bottle of milk for our arrival was a lovely welcome! Abi was hand by text or phone which was a comfort but we didn’t need to bother her as everything was well explained in the welcome book upon arrival! Finally the little courtyard is beautiful and relaxing with the little waterfall, so tranquil!

A lot of thought has gone into making the most from a cosy space; hot water tap instead of a kettle, storage under the stairs and a good sized shower for saying what space is available. The accommodation was very charming and quirky, and the fire was awesome. Clean and comfortable. The little fenced garden was perfect for keeping the dog safe. The property also had WiFi ☺️

The only thing I'd change would be the layout of the TV and sofa. Maybe turning the sofa 90deg and the TV further into the corner? Was a little awkward watching the TV.

It is such a lovely property that is nicely tucked away from the road and also has views of the sea from the bedroom window. The property has so much character, from the stone arched windows to the log burner. We very much enjoyed our stay here and would definitely would stay here again (with our dog next time) :)

Very clean and comfortable. It is cozy but has everything you need and has been carefully thought out. The enclosed entrance yard meant the dog could nip out when needed whilst the location is a very short walk to the town

Nothing against the property but Ilfracombe itself was a little disappointing. Very run down and quite grim in places. However the property is handily located for exploring the rest of N. Devon.
