The holiday village and grounds were very pleasant and relaxing. First impressions the cottage was nice and well equipped. Nice quality bedding and towels. Pretty location overlooking the lake.

It had probably the most uncomfortable bed I've slept in. The ground floor wc was crowded with vacuum cleaner and ironing board so couldn't be used. Worst of all it needed a good and thorough clean! Skirting boards and floors were very dirty as we're the walls in heavy traffic areas. The shelf in the oven was was covered in grease and dirt, very sticky unable to be used. Awful.

The location was peaceful until some inconsiderate person played music at 9.50pm

Eyam cottage was far from clean, several cobwebs, no coasters for cups/glasses, en suite shower - dirty, floor tiles -loose! When I needed to cook my son some food the black came off the baking trays onto the food! Was a smell of urine on one of the beds, single beds should have been pushed together as per request - wasn't done, the list I is endless, certainly won't be returning
