Daron Large Country Cottage

The owner was very accommodating and even left us a bottle of bubbly being as we were there over the Christmas period. The beds were very comfy, the house clean with everything we needed. Plenty of space and the garden is large. The local pub is a treat and locals friendly.

Already wrote to Paul direct thanking him for a great stay, everything we needed was available.

No information re heating controls, house, rubbish collection and what to do with myrad of bins on the drive. No welcome pack or suggested restaurants, shopping, and activities. Heating via hive controlled remotely, so house not welcoming as it could be. Cleanliness of house was a concern in kitchen, house probably had been closed for a while. The dining table was sticky, with food crumbs in cupboards and draws, Living room carpet was not the cleanest.

Good place for a group, value for money. The living room is very cozy, good view from the window. Lots of channels on tele. Local grocery shop nearby and friendly people. Bedroom downstairs is very accessible for those unable to take the stairs. Have everything we needed. Thank you.

Outside the property wasn't well maintained, especially the front. Toilet doors don't have lock.

Location was serene and accessible; The house was old but it gave us a countryside feels where we can just enjoy the peacefulness and warmth of a home.

Lovely location and really good size property the space and layout was perfect for us.
