Newly refurbished and looking amazing - a perfect location and for waking the beaches and great for local pubs and places to eat the bonus for us its very dog friendly.

Couches & beds were comfortable

Fridge/ freezer not working- leaked water all over floor. Food affected. Left message on ans machine but NO contact back from yourselves. Bird droppings all around cottage- excessively so. I became wheezy & allergic symptoms. TV remote not fully linked in so limited viewing.Very old bedroom carpet with iron marks on it- needed replaced years ago I my opinion

The cottage was spacious and the settees comfortable.

Parking was very difficult and stressful. Heating was a nightmare. We were either freezing or boiling. Heating on all night. No instructions were given on how to work it. Not even the maintained man could work it out. Water dangerously hot. The cottage was clean on the surface but under the furniture,on blinds and in drawers very dusty. The mattresses were soft and lumpy. Blinds in one room broken. Paint peeling off the walls and ceiling. Trays for oven covered in rust. Microwave unusable and unsafe due to rust. Bath difficult to get out of. Place smelt musty. We weren't expecting a Palace but basic care and comfort should be put in place especially at the price paid. Overall feeling was that it was shabby. I must say though that the agent responded promptly to our calls when toaster blew and the heating went off. However, our comments are more or less the same as others made throughout the last year, so it seems the property is not being looked after as would be expected. It's a shame as it could be so much nicer... The location is great.

The location

Very strong smell throughout the property of damp. Bathroom also had a bad smell, shower wasn’t great. Property needs updating & a good clean. Parking is not ideal. Front door wasn’t very secure as well as it being the only exit in the property. (Hairs on photos did not belong to us)

Limited parking and car access to property. No garden.

Lamps weren’t working in lounge, the parking would’ve been ok but builders across the way kept blocking the way in and out The rug in the lounge smelt of dog wee

The property was beautifully decorated and on a quite street, but close enough to the Main Street for access ability

This is very minor, but the bathroom could use a toilet brush, like I say very minor but would help with maintaining cleanliness while staying

Comfortable beds and sofas. Clean and spacious. We only used it to sleep, eat breakfast and get ready and it was great for that.

Chest table in living room is falling apart! Would be nice to have some occasional tables by the sofas for coffee etc A tea towel/cleaning cloth or sponge would have been useful. Parking is not the easiest!
