Lovely house next to Euchan River

Location was great,size of rooms was good. Good range of facilities.

Beds without footboard,when you are taller these are restrictive.

It would be difficult not to love this cottage. It has so much character and charm. It is spacious and well equipped. The beds are very comfortable. The location is excellent, being in the middle of the countryside yet close to local amenities such as the wonderful FUN pool in Sanquhar. Local people are very friendly and welcoming. Host is accommodating.

The cottage needs a deep clean to get rid of 'old' stains on the carpets, seat pads, sofas, walls, etc. Ditto for the kitchen. The television doesn't appear to have any TV channels, except for Netflix. A simple bracket would allow for the shower head to be fixed to the wall, making for a more comfortable experience when showering.

Beautiful location in the countryside but only a minute’s drive from the town centre ! There is a river flowing right in front of the house with a walking path right next to it which was lovely. The house is very pretty and has all the facilities one needs!

Lovely, bucolic setting and very clean and comfortable Cottage. The walk to town is extraordinary, with fields, rolling hills, a bridge over the river and sheep, but can take 20-25 minutes. There is also a river walk right in front of the cottage that will take you by the Euchan Well and waterfalls through a forest. Just delightful.

It only has a bath, not a shower. we ran out of coffee pods and toilet paper and despite Owners initial offer to be helpful, we were directed to go to the supermarket to get our own coffee pods(ok) but toilet paper? luckily there were extra rolls in a cupboard downstairs.
